Anyway, here’s my Christmas card, and I’ve officially taken my dog-mom obsession to a new level by designing wrapping paper featuring Christmas Abe.

One week ago today, my grandfather, John Brady, left this earth at the age of 95. To say he was a great man doesn’t begin to cover it- Dada was one in a million. Cut from a cloth of gold. Kind, devoted, honest, humble, and full of quiet strength. I’m so deeply proud to be his granddaughter.

Our final conversation is one I’ll carry with me forever.
“You’re ready to go see your girl, aren’t you?”
“Yep,” he said, with a smile and a nod.
“Promise me something? That you’ll love on each other lots until we’re all together again someday.”
“I promise.”
“I love you, Dada.”
“I love you, honey.”

Knowing he’s reunited with my Nana, the love of his life, brings me peace.
I’ll be seeing you, Dada. ❤️

Finally sharing this beauty… only took me 2 years! 🫣

This one will be a forever favorite. Not only because I’m a mountain gal and love this fam, but because it introduced me to the amazing @katrinahutchinsevents and was the first of many fun projects together! 💚🍄

Vintage stamps, custom illustrations, calligraphy, sculpt embossing, letterpress, edge paint, real wood… this suite had it all! I even hand made custom tags with a branding iron. 🪵

My Grandad passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Day. In the midst of grief, I've found comfort in knowing not only that he didn’t suffer, but that his last week was filled with exactly what he would’ve wanted – meaningful time with his family, a beautiful church service, cherished moments with my Grandmother, and good scotch.

His passing leaves me with a profound sense of gratitude. As I reflect, I realize some things that seemed ‘normal’ in my childhood were anything but, and were actually incredible blessings. At the top of that list is family. I’ve been fortunate to have close relationships with all four of my grandparents into adulthood - something I now appreciate as a rare and beautiful gift. I am forever grateful for their love and influence.

This past weekend was the 8th annual Luke Garrison Foundation meeting.
When you lose a friend like Luke, a big hole is left behind. While it can never be filled, this group is the bridge, the guardrail, and the light that keeps you from falling in and getting lost in the depths. I am so blessed to be part of this village of Luke’s family and friends, and honored to get to celebrate his legacy through the foundation. This year we gave to 19 different organizations in Luke’s name and to date have given nearly $250k to 50 causes. 🩵⛰️
